Hartig Drug Company Donates Over $6,000 to United Way for Over the Edge!

DUBUQUE, Iowa -Hartig Drug Company CEO Charlie Hartig and MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions CEO Wes Hartig are going Over the Edge for United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 2 p.m.

Following a successful campaign, Hartig Drug collected and donated over $6,000.00 to United Way, securing two "Edger" spots at the Over the Edge event. Together, the Hartig brothers will rappel down the side of the MidWestOne Bank building located at 895 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001.

To continue efforts to decrease the spread of influenza and Covid-19, Hartig Drug will support co-administration of the flu and Covid-19 vaccines during a single pharmacy visit, per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.

Sarah is originally from East Dubuque, Illinois, and attended undergraduate school at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2021 in Rockford, Illinois.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Hartig Drug Company now has second booster doses of the mRNA Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccine available for select individuals.

After approval from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the following individuals are eligible to receive a second Covid-19 booster dose:

• People ages 12 years and older who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may choose to receive a second booster dose at least 4 months after the first booster dose.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Hartig Drug Company is now distributing free N95 masks at all locations in collaboration with the federal government and its Strategic National Stockpile.

N95 masks are available at no cost to individuals and are limited to three per person. Customers and patients should look for signage near the registers for the masks.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Hartig Drug Company now offers free self-collection Covid-19 PCR test kits at all of its 23 locations in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Through a partnership with testing company eTrueNorth, these lab-based PCR test kits increase the availability of testing throughout the communities Hartig Drug serves and provide a more accurate Covid-19 test result.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Hartig Drug Company announces today that Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine booster doses are now available for 12 to 17-year-olds at least 5 months after their second dose. At this time, Pfizer-BioNTech is the only Covid-19 vaccine booster authorized for 12 to 17-year-olds.
