Cody Freiburger, a Certified Pharmacy Technician, is the Pharmacy Services Assistant for Hartig Drug Company in Dubuque, Iowa.
Freiburger is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry and plans to attend the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in fall 2023.
In 2017, Freiburger joined the Hartig team as a Pharmacy Technician at the Dubuque JFK location. In summer 2020, he made the transition to the corporate office. Through his work with two Hartig Drug pharmacists, Freiburger was inspired to become a pharmacist himself.
Originally from Galena, Illinois, and Anniston, Alabama, Freiburger now resides in Dubuque with his husband Daniel and their dogs Sookie and Downton. He enjoys reading crime novels, playing both the flute and clarinet for the Grand Opera House, cooking southern comfort food, and baking cakes.
Freiburger enjoys working for Hartig Drug. He especially loves helping to organize vaccine clinics and administering and counseling patients on the various vaccines.
